Profile Summary
Passionate writer experienced in storytelling, teaching, and editorial work. Instilled with the principle that effective communication relies on meaning, sense, and clarity. Experienced in helping small businesses find and express their voice in the ever-changing digital world.
Area of Research
My research centers the role of narrative medicine within writing and pedagogy. Narrative medicine uses the act of storytelling as a form of healing which translates to classroom spaces. The act of communication and connecting with others becomes a story. Additionally, my research is conducted through an Indigenous lens, focusing on how Western medicine and storytelling is influenced by Indigenous cultural practices.
